I pull from a big library of journey quotes for these newsletters, at all times looking for to spotlight people who I can draw a reference to. This week’s nameless quote appears becoming, as I’ve simply returned dwelling after a few weeks on the highway and journeys to Juneau, Atlanta and Lake Tahoe. In every vacation spot, I used to be a unique individual — or slightly, every metropolis introduced out totally different elements of my character.

I’ve at all times thought-about Atlanta to be a “no nonsense” metropolis, and I needed to assume that persona when my lodge left me stranded on the airport. Though the ADA requires lodge shuttles to be wheelchair accessible, workers advised me there was nothing to do besides cancel my reservation. Ha! I didn’t again down from the battle and was in the end accommodated at one other lodge (at their expense).
